Aistro is operated by Zodiac Reflections Astro Research & Consultancy (proprietor: Anshuman Goswami), a business registered in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India (GSTIN 08CBEPG5527P1Z8). In this Privacy Policy, "we," "our," and "us" mean Zodiac Reflections Astro Research & Consultancy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Aistro website (aistro.in) and the Aistro mobile app (package in.aistro.app), together the "Service."

1. Information We Collect

• Account and identity data: your name, email address, phone number, and gender, provided when you register or complete your profile.
• Birth details: your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. We collect these specifically to compute your Vedic birth chart (kundli), which is the core of every reading. You provide them voluntarily, and providing them is your consent to use them for this purpose.
• Conversations and content: the questions you ask, the messages you exchange with our AI (on the website and in the app), the AI's responses, fact-checker claims, the readings and reports generated for you, any community posts, journal or reflection entries, and remedy requests you submit. We store these to operate, support, moderate, and improve the Service. We do not sell this content.
• Voice input: if you use a voice call, we capture your microphone audio while the call is active and process it in real time to understand your question and speak the answer. We do not keep a recording of the audio; only the text transcript of the call is saved to your chat history.
• Wallet and transaction data: your credit balance, purchase and subscription history, and payment references. We do not store your full card number, UPI PIN, or bank credentials; those are handled by our payment providers (see Section 4).
• Usage and device data: information our servers collect when you use the Service, such as the features you use, actions you take, your device and app version, and approximate times of use.

2. Why We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account and wallet.
• Compute your birth chart and generate the personalized readings and reports you request.
• Provide paid features, Aistro Pro, and (where you request them) human consultations and remedy arrangements.
• Process payments and keep the transaction records the law requires.
• Keep the Service safe, including reviewing for harmful, abusive, or unsafe use and moderating community content.
• Respond to your support requests and tell you about your account.
• Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and operation of the Service.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you provide it and use the Service, and to perform the service you have asked for. Where we keep records for tax, accounting, or legal reasons, we do so to meet a legal obligation. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (see Section 7); some limited records may be retained where the law requires.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

• Cloud infrastructure and database providers: for secure sign-in, data storage, hosting, and operating the Service.
• AI service providers: to generate the AI readings and answers from your chart and your question, and, during a voice call, to process your microphone audio in real time so the assistant can understand and speak.
• Mapping and location providers: to look up and standardize your place of birth.
• Payment processors: to process payments made on the website.
• App stores and subscription-management providers: to process and manage in-app purchases and subscriptions in the mobile app.
• By law or to protect rights: if we believe disclosure is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share information as permitted or required by applicable law.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. We share the minimum necessary and rely on the providers' own safeguards.

We do not use your personal data for research or to train AI models. If we ever use de-identified data (with your name and contact details removed) for internal research to improve the Service, we will update this policy and offer a way to opt out before doing so.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and you use the Service. When you delete your account, we follow the process in Section 7. We retain transaction and tax records for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, even after your account is deleted.

We do not automatically delete the data of an active account. Your chart, readings and conversation history remain available so your future readings stay personalised. You can remove all of it at any time by deleting your account, as described in Section 7.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and request a summary of it.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data (you can edit most profile and birth details in the app).
• Delete your account and data (see Section 7).
• Withdraw consent for future processing.
• Raise a grievance with us using the contact details below.

7. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can delete your account and its data yourself. In the app, open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. If you use the website or cannot access the app, email support@aistro.in with the subject "Delete my account" and the phone number or email you signed up with.

When you request deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent erasure and kept for a recovery window of 30 days. During that window you can sign back in and cancel the request to restore everything. After the window, we permanently and irreversibly erase your data, including your profile and birth details, your saved charts, your chat history and readings, your wallet balance and credit history, your journal entries, and your community membership, posts, and replies, and we remove your sign-in. We keep only the limited transaction and tax records the law requires, reduced to the minimum needed. Purchase receipts for in-app purchases are also held by Apple or Google under their own policies.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you are between 13 and 18, use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

9. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we take reasonable steps to secure the information you provide, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
